Hair Loss Treatment – 5 Tips can Treat Hair Loss
Losing ones hair unintentionally can be very frustrating especially for people who attach being beautiful to having a head full of long, full and healthy hair. Why do people lose their hair? There are many reasons why people lose their hair, some of these reasons include:
o Stress
o Dandruff
o Birth control pills
o Hair damaging hair styles (e.g. tight braids)
o Hair relaxers
o Hair dyes
o Illness
o Pregnancy and child birth
o Menopause
o Genetic factors
o Poor diet
There are various ways to treat hair loss, these methods include:
1) Massage Your Scalp
Hair loss can be treated by massaging the scalp a couple of minutes daily, doing this will stimulate the flow of blood to the hair follicles. If you can afford it, you can get an electric massager in the market, there are several brands of massagers to choose from.
2) Maintain A Healthy Diet
Eat foods that are rich in nutrients, make sure you add lots of fresh fruits and vegetables to your diet because one of the most significant cause of hair loss is poor nutrition. People who lack vitamin B6 usually lose their hair and people who are deficient in folic acid often turn bald! Hair normally grows after taking lots of vitamins.
3) Exercise
Exercising does not do a thing to grow your hair (then why on earth should you exercise?) Exercises will help you improve blood flow and do all the things that would aid the health of your hair follicles. A healthy hair follicle will give you a healthy and full head of hair, get the logic?
4) Medical Treatment
If you can afford it, you can undergo hair transplant surgery. Before you think of undergoing hair transplant, be sure that the company is a reputable one. Hair transplants are performed by taking tiny “plugs” of hair from your scalp (where there is still hair growth), which is often the nape of the neck. This surgical procedure usually requires multiple sessions and the results are often natural looking and permanent (that is, if it is done properly).
5) Herbal Remedies
Herbs are often used in the treatment of hair loss and many people are turning to them in order to treat their hair loss problems.
o Rosemary and Sage – these two herbs have been used traditionally as an herbal shampoo. Boil these herbs together; rosemary, sage, nettle, burdock and peach leaf. The lose herbs should be strained from the liquid and cooled; the liquid can be used to wash hair every day.
o Aloe Vera – Aloe Vera can be used to heal and balance the scalp’s pH level while cleansing the pores of the scalp in the process. Aloe Vera has been used to prevent and treat hair loss and it has been used widely to promote healthy hair.
o Indian Gooseberry Oil – this hair oil is very useful for stimulating hair growth and preventing hair loss.
o Alfalfa – the juice extracted from alfalfa in combination with the same quantities of lettuce and carrot juice, taken on a daily basis will help your hair to grow longer.
o Coconut milk – if coconut milk is applied over the scalp and massaged down to the hair roots it will nourish the hair and stimulates hair growth. It is also very good for treating hair loss.

Treating Hair Loss the Alternative Way
Thinning hair occurs for many reasons. Only after a complete and thorough examination by a physician can these reasons be found. It has been found the most common causes of non-genetic related hair loss are genetics, illness, poor diet or stress. Side effects of some medications have also been found to contribute to loss of hair.
Another common reason for baldness is a thyroid malfunction, known as thyroid hair loss. If diagnosed with thyroid hair loss, its is recommended to consult a dermatologist immediately. Reasons surrounding this condition need to be determined as soon as possible in order to properly treat the problem.
Common Problem
Approximately 60 million people in the United States are suffering from hair loss, with the majority being men. It has been found that more then 50% of men over the age of 50 suffer from thinning hair or baldness. Modern studies in medication have introduced effective treatments to help this ongoing problem. Of that percentage, the highest population consists of people who have suffered from thinning hair due to genetics. Hair loss is a pattern phenomenon passed down from either side in the parents.
Alternative Medicines
There are many treatments available for men and women today. Many of these treatments, however, are very costly and may include unwanted side effects. For these reasons, many people have opted for alternative medicines to treat their loss.
One alternative treatment is aromatherapy. During aromatherapy treatments, prime rose oil is applied directly to the scalp. Essential oil extracts from cedar wood, lavender and rosemary have also been used to effectively treat lost hair. Another alternative medicine used is ayurvedic herbal remedies.
Two effective ayurvedic oils are bhringaraj and brahmi oils. These oils have been shown to accelerate hair growth. Continued use of approximately 3 to 6 months is recommended for maximum results. Other popular herbs used to treat hair loss are amala and aswagandha. Various Tibetan herbs and acupuncture treatments have also been proved effective.
Another more effective solution is to find a powerful anti-DHT formula which down not allow enzymes to be created by the hair follicle. This protects the hair shaft as Testosterone in the body cannot be converted into DHT. Dihydrosterone is a very potent compound which is now believe to be the leading causes of the common horsehoe-shaped pattern loss in men and women.
As always, it is recommended to seek the advice of a professional before attempting to treat any condition.
